Hailing from Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania, Dave Kauffman brings over six decades of tractor pulling experience to the track. He competes with his naturally aspirated Super Stock Minneapolis-Moline 705, known as The Gold Digger. Running on methanol, this machine primarily pulls in the 6,500 lb. class, but is also capable in the 5,500 lb. division.
Dave’s been pulling for an incredible 62 years, competing across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Maryland. Like all competitors in the N/A Super Stock class, he runs a stock-type Moline engine block — though with a few well-earned modifications. On a solid track, a full pull means dragging over 40,000 pounds across the skid pan.
