Erik Edgren

The “T-Clips” was originally built by Taylorcraft in 1939. It was “Clipped” for aerobatics in 1997 by Steve Givens using a mix of both the Swick and Cole Plans. Erik has further modified the T-Clips with inverted fuel and oil and airshow smoke systems making it an optimal and unique “up close and personal”, crowd-pleasing airshow machine.

The T-Clips features a CATTO 74/46 custom-made fixed-pitched prop, Tempest spark plugs and high-pressure fuel pump, Precision Airmotive fuel injection system, SkyTec starter, EarthX battery, CJ Aviation smoke pump, and fuel boost pump, Custom Oregon Aero seat cushions, and AeroLED night airshow lighting!

The T-Clip’s engine was custom built by Legacy Aviation with parts overhauled and sourced from Aircraft Specialty Services.
